Curious Collaboration
When musician Jason Newton (aka Pearl Viper) approached my other half, Paul Read in his incarnation as the Tai Chi anti-guru Teapotmonk, to ask whether he could sample his voice, a very curious collaboration began.
The result, a year later, was a series of 3 very unusual EP's in which Jason cleverly sampled Paul's Tai Chi podcasts and created a set of distinctive and very moody backing tracks to complement them. The whole is substantially greater than the sum of its parts. Listen to the result and hear for yourself!
