![]() (The sync on the video is not great so, if you prefer to just listen, you can do so on Spotify.) One of the most fun things I've done recently was to be interviewed by the lovely Ali Meehan over on the Making it Happen podcastAli is the founder of Costa Women - a massive - and free - social and business networking community for women living in or looking to relocate to Spain. (Costa Women was awarded Best of British Social Club by The Telegraph in 2012 and added to Top 101 Feisty, Fun And Fabulous Women Bloggers To Follow in 2014 by Birds on the Blog.) A warm and bubbly lady, Ali is a pioneering social entrepreneur who is passionate about connecting people, breaking new ground and inspiring ideas. She's also a Mentor with The Aspire Foundation which supports and celebrates women working in charities, non-profits and social enterprises. Ali and I have known each other on social media for a good few years now and - unbeknown to me - she had been an avid reader of my blog. (Duh, I wondered why she so kindly shared my posts on Twitter! Leave a comment people, so I'll know you're there!) We have never met in person - for which there's actually no good excuse, given that my house in Spain is less than a couple of hours from hers. But we had such a good time chatting over our virtual coffee, during and after the interview, that we're now committed to 'making it happen' by meeting up in person the next time we find ourselves in the same country at the same time! © Author: Cherry Jeffs Liked this post?
